Arts Alive Festival
The "Arts Alive" event takes place in downtown Langley for one day in August of every year. It is an event where musicians, dancers, artists and artisans line several downtown streets for one day only.
This year's event will be Saturday, August 13, 2005
Location: Fraser Highway between 204th and 206th & Army and Navy Mall
Description: 12th Annual Arts Alive Festival on Saturday, August 13th from 10 am to 4 pm. If art is your pleasure, Downtown Langley is the place to be. The streets of Downtown Langley will come alive with over 90 artists participating in this feast of visual and performing art. See artists demonstrate their techniques and purchase works of art directly from the artists. Talented musicians and dancers will be featured on two entertainment stages, and a children’s chalk art area will be the place to let your “budding artists” show you what they can do. This “free, fun for the whole family event” is a great way to spend your day.
